Perspective
If anyone is struggling with something my go to response is "write it down." I don't know if that works for everyone but it certainly works for me. If you had a bad day, write it down. If you don't know whether to do some thing or not, write it down. If you have a lot to accomplish today, tomorrow, this week, write it down. No matter what it is, WRITE IT DOWN! Writing things out, for me, allows me to get perspective on a certain event or situation. When I can put my thoughts to paper it's easier for me to see what's troubling me, I can organize my thoughts better and it allows me to stay focused on a task. Most of the time, I write about an unpleasant event that I went through or when I'm conflicted about something. I do write about positive things too but mostly I write about the unpleasant because that's how I sort my troubles out.
